Gen 17:7 I will establish my covenant
as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after
you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants
after you. 8 The whole land of Canaan, where you are now an alien,
I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after
you; and I will be their God." NIV Deut 1:6 "It was forty years ago, at Mount Horeb, that Jehovah our God told us, 'You have stayed here long enough. 7 Now go and occupy the hill country of the Amorites, the valley of the Arabah, and the Negeb, and all the land of Canaan and Lebanon-the entire area from the shores of the Mediterranean Sea to the Euphrates River. 8 I am giving all of it to you! Go in and possess it, for it is the land the Lord promised to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and all of their descendants.' TLB Deut 11:10 The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden. 11 But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven. 12 It is a land the LORD your God cares for; the eyes of the LORD your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end. NIV Deut 11:23 then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you. 24 Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the western sea. 25 No man will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go. NIV Deuteronomy 32:8 When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided all mankind, he set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel. 9 For the LORD's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance. Josh 2:8 Rahab went up to talk to the men before they retired for the night. 9 "I know perfectly well that your God is going to give my country to you," she told them. "We are all afraid of you; everyone is terrified if the word Israel is even mentioned. 10 For we have heard how the Lord made a path through the Red Sea for you when you left Egypt! And we know what you did to Sihon and Og, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan, and how you ruined their land and completely destroyed their people. 11 No wonder we are afraid of you! No one has any fight left in him after hearing things like that, for your God is the supreme God of heaven, not just an ordinary god.TLB In other words, Israel could have taken the land 40 yrs earlier because they were feared due to things that had then already happened. It shows the curse of democracy and disinformation |

celebrated the Passover during the evening of April first. 11 The next day they began to eat from the gardens and grain fields which they invaded, and they made unleavened bread. The following day no manna fell, and it was never seen again! So from that time on they lived on the crops of Canaan. TLB
Psalms 68:9 You sent abundant rain, O God,to refresh the weary
Promised Land. 10 There your people finally settled, and with a bountiful
harvest, O God,you provided for your needy people. Psalms 69:34 Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them 35 For God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. Then people will settle there and possess it = God's land Ex 15:13 You have led the people you redeemed. But in your loving-kindness You have guided them wonderfully To your holy land. TLB Psalms 78:54 He brought them to the border of his holy land, to this land of hills he had won for them. NLT |

Psalms 79:1 O God, pagan (heathen - TLB) nations have conquered your land, your special possession.
They have defiled your holy
Temple and made Jerusalem
a heap of ruins. Psalms 80:8 You brought us from Egypt as though we were a tender vine; you drove away the pagan nations and transplanted us into your land. NLT Land 2nd return: Isa 54:2 "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. 3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. NIV Desolate ![]() ![]() It must be noted that the land of Israel becomes a wasteland when the Jews are not living in it. Mark Twain for instance, said after his journey from Jerusalem to the Galilee in the late 1860s, "I saw but one human and one tree". This can also be seen from Ezekiel 36:33-34. The Lord God of Israel says: I will bring you home again to Israel, and rebuild the ruins. Acreage will be cultivated again that through the years of exile lay empty as barren wilderness; all who passed by were shocked (like Twain) to see the extent of ruin in your land. Living Bible Jeremiah 44:22 When the LORD could no longer endure your wicked actions and the detestable things you did, your land became an object of cursing and a desolate waste without inhabitants, as it is today. NIV and Ezekiel 38:8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate*1*. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. Zechariah 7:14 I scattered them as with a whirlwind among the distant nations, where they lived as strangers. Their land became so desolate that no one even traveled through it. The land that had been so pleasant became a desert. NLT. This desolation can even today be seen in areas of Israel Arabs are occupying. This phenomenon led to the line separating the so-called "Territories" from the rest of Israel, being called the "Greenline" since there's very little "greenery" beyond that line - except for the hills where Jewish "settlements" have been established |

Lets face it. Without faith it
is almost impossible to live here. And Im not talking about Hebron.
Im referring to the entire State of Israel. Clearly, nothing about
the past 56 years or even the past 100 years, is linked to logic or
rationality. Be it 1948, 1967, 1973, or today. If G-d didnt want us
here, we simply wouldnt be here. Hallel by David Wilder, The Jewish
Community of Hebron. May 3, 2004 Gen 48:22 And I have given the choice land of Shekem to you instead of to your brothers, as your portion of that land which I took from the Amorites with my sword and with my bow." TLB Judg 11:14 Jephthah replied, "Israel did not steal the land. 16 What happened was this: ...21 But the Lord our God helped Israel defeat King Sihon and all your people, so Israel took over all of your land from the Arnon River to the Jabbok, and from the wilderness to the Jordan River. 23 "So you see, it was the Lord God of Israel who took away the land from the Amorites and gave it to Israel. Why, then, should we return it to you? 24 You keep whatever your god Chemosh gives you, and we will keep whatever Jehovah our God gives us! 25 And besides, just who do you think you are? Are you better than King Balak, the king of Moab? Did he try to recover his land after Israel defeated him? No, of course not. 26 But now after three hundred years you make an issue of this! Israel has been living here for all that time, spread across the land from Heshbon to Aroer, and all along the Arnon River. Why have you made no effort to recover it before now? 27 No, I have not sinned against you; rather, you have wronged me by coming to war against me; but Jehovah the Judge will soon show which of us is right-Israel or Ammon." Mountains![]() Mic 4:1 But in the last days Mount Zion will be the most renowned of all the mountains of the world, praised by all nations; people from all over the world will make pilgrimages there. 2 "Come," they will say to one another, "let us visit the mountain of the Lord, and see the Temple of the God of Israel; he will tell us what to do, and we will do it." For in those days the whole world will be ruled by the Lord from Jerusalem! He will issue his laws and announce his decrees from there. TLB |
