Ps 5:8 Lord, lead me as you promised
me you would; otherwise my enemies will conquer me. Tell me clearly what
to do, which way to turn. 9 For they cannot speak one truthful word. Their
hearts are filled to the brim with wickedness. Their suggestions are full
of the stench of sin and death. Their tongues are filled with flatteries
to gain their wicked ends. 10 O God, hold them responsible. Catch them in
their own traps; let them fall beneath the weight of their own transgressions,
for they rebel against you. TLB Ps 6:6 I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. 7 My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes. 8 Away from me, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard my weeping. 9 The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer. Ps 6:10 All my enemies will be ashamed and dismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace. NIV Ps 7:1 I am depending on you, O Lord my God, to save me from my persecutors (all who pursue me, NIV) 2 Don't let them pounce upon me as a lion would and maul me and drag me away with no one to rescue me. 3 It would be different, Lord, if I were doing evil things- 4 if I were paying back evil for good or unjustly attacking those I dislike. 5 Then it would be right for you to let my enemies destroy me, crush me to the ground, and trample my life in the dust. TLB Ps 9:13 O LORD, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death, 14 that I may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter of Zion (all the people at Jerusalem's gates TLB) and there rejoice in your salvation. Psalms 68:11 The Lord announces victory, and throngs of women
shout the happy news. 12 Enemy kings and their armies flee, while the women

18 For through him we both have
access to the Father by one Spirit. 19 Consequently, you
are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow
citizens with God's people and members of God's household, 20 built
on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself
as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together
and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are
being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

2 Thess 2:1 Concerning the coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers,
2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter
supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already
come. 3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come
until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man
doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything
that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple,
proclaiming himself to be God. NIV King & Priest ![]() Ps 2:6 "I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill." Heb 2:17 For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. NIV Heb 7:1 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, 2 and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, his name means "king of righteousness"; then also, "king of Salem" means "king of peace." 3 Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever. 4 Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder! 5 Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people-that is, their brothers-even though their brothers are descended from Abraham. 6 This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. 7 And without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the greater. 8 In the one case, the tenth is collected by men who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living...

12 For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. 13 He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. 14 For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. 15 And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, 16 one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is declared: "You are a priest forever, in the in the order of Melchizedek."
