David_Messiah EnemiesPs 3:1 A PSALM of David when he fled from his son Absalom. O Lord, so many are against me. So many seek to harm me. I have so many enemies. 2 So many say that God will never help me. 3 But Lord, you are my shield, my glory, and my only hope. You alone can lift my head, now bowed in shame. TLB

Ps 5:8 Lord, lead me as you promised me you would; otherwise my enemies will conquer me. Tell me clearly what to do, which way to turn. 9 For they cannot speak one truthful word. Their hearts are filled to the brim with wickedness. Their suggestions are full of the stench of sin and death. Their tongues are filled with flatteries to gain their wicked ends. 10 O God, hold them responsible. Catch them in their own traps; let them fall beneath the weight of their own transgressions, for they rebel against you. TLB
Ps 6:6 I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. 7 My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.
8 Away from me, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard my weeping. 9 The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer. Ps 6:10 All my enemies will be ashamed and dismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace. NIV

Ps 7:1 I am depending on you, O Lord my God, to save me from my persecutors (all who pursue me, NIV)
2 Don't let them pounce upon me as a lion would and maul me and drag me away with no one to rescue me. 3 It would be different, Lord, if I were doing evil things- 4 if I were paying back evil for good or unjustly attacking those I dislike. 5 Then it would be right for you to let my enemies destroy me, crush me to the ground, and trample my life in the dust. TLB

Ps 9:13 O LORD, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death, 14 that I may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter of Zion (all the people at Jerusalem's gates TLB) and there rejoice in your salvation. NIV
Ps 17:8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings 9 from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me. 10 They close up their callous hearts, and their mouths speak with arrogance. 11 They have tracked me down, they now surround me, with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground. NIV

Ps 38:19 But my enemies persecute with vigor and continue to hate me-though I have done nothing against them to deserve it. 20 They repay me evil for good and hate me for standing for the right. TLB
Psalms 69:10 (David) When I weep and fast before the LORD, they scoff at me. 11When I dress in sackcloth to show sorrow, they make fun of me. 12 I am the favorite topic of town gossip, and all the drunkards sing about me. 13 But I keep right on praying to you, LORD,hoping this is the time you will show me favor. In your unfailing love, O God,answer my prayer with your sure salvation.
Psalms 71: 1 O LORD, you are my refuge; never let me be disgraced. 2Rescue me! Save me from my enemies, for you are just.Turn your ear to listen and set me free... 9 And now, in my old age, don't set me aside.Don't abandon me when my strength is failing. 10 For my enemies are whispering against me.They are plotting together to kill me. 11They say, "God has abandoned him.Let's go and get him,for there is no one to help him now." 12 O God, don't stay away.My God, please hurry to help me. 13 Bring disgrace and destruction on those who accuse me.May humiliation and shame coverthose who want to harm me.

David_MessPs 71:24 I will tell about your righteous deeds all day long, for everyone who tried to hurt me has been shamed and humiliated.
Psalms 69:17 (Messiah) Do not hide your face from your servant; answer me quickly, for I am in trouble 18 Come near and rescue me; redeem me because of my foes 19 You know how I am scorned,
disgraced and shamed; all my enemies are before you 22 May the table set before them become a snare; may it become retribution and a trap 23 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever  24 Pour out your wrath on them; let your fierce anger overtake them 25 May their place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in their tents
26 For they persecute those you wound and talk about the pain of those you hurt

Psalms 70:1 Please, God, rescue me! Come quickly, LORD, and help me. 2 May those who try to destroy mebe humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my troublebe turned back in disgrace. 3 Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said, "Aha! We've got him now!"
Luke 20:17 But he looked upon them, and said, What then is this that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner? 18 Every one that falleth on that stone shall be broken to pieces; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust. ASV  (Dan 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. KJV)

Deal with Ps 9:3 My enemies will fall back and perish in your presence; 4 you have vindicated me; you have endorsed my work, declaring from your throne that it is good. The Lord will destroy your cities; even the memory of them will disappear. TLB

Ps 68:1 For the choir director: A psalm of David. A song. Arise, O God, and scatter your enemies. Let those who hate God run for their lives. 2 Drive them off like smoke blown by the wind. Psalms 68:11 The Lord announces victory, and throngs of women shout the happy news. 12 Enemy kings and their armies flee, while the women of Israel Pide the plunder. 13 Though they lived among the sheepfolds, now they are covered with silver and gold, as a dove is covered by its wings. 14 The Almighty scattered the enemy kings like a blowing snowstorm on Mount Zalmon.
Psalms 68:...20 Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death.
21 But God will smash the heads of his enemies, crushing the skulls of those who love their guilty ways. 22 The Lord says, "I will bring my enemies down from Bashan; I will bring them up from the depths of the sea. 23 You, my people, will wash your feet in their blood, and even your dogs will get their share!"
Psalms 69:9 Passion for your house  (G's work TLB; kingdom -Ed) burns within me, so those who insult you are also insulting me.
Isa 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. 16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. 17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. Matthew 11:4 Jesus replied, "Go back and report to John what you hear and see: 5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. 6 Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me." NIV
Enemy nationsPs 68:28 Summon your might, O God. Display your power, O God, as you have in the past. 29 The kings of the earth are bringing tribute to your Temple in Jerusalem. 30 Rebuke these enemy nations--these wild animals lurking in the reeds, this herd of bulls among the weaker calves. Humble those who demand tribute from us. Scatter the nations that delight in war.

Zech 6:12 Tell him (Joshua - son of Josedech) that the Lord Almighty says, 'You represent the Man who will come, whose name is "The Branch"-he will grow up from himself --and will build the Temple of the Lord (= kingdom). 13 To him belongs the royal title. Gentiles in the Jewish Kingdom Eph 2:11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called "uncircumcised" by those who call themselves "the circumcision" (that done in the body by the hands of men)- 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.

18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. 19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. NIV
Temple when Yeshua returnsEzek 43:1 Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, 2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory. 3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown. 4 The glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate facing east. 5 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. NIV
Ezek 48:35 "The distance all around will be 18,000 cubits. "And the name of the city from that time on will be: THE LORD IS THERE." NIV
Ps 102:15 Now let the nations and their rulers tremble before the Lord, before his glory. 16 For Jehovah will rebuild Jerusalem! He will appear in his glory! TLB
Anti-Christ sets himself up in God's temple

2 Thess 2:1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God. NIV
King & PriestGen 14:18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, NIV
Ps 2:6 "I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill."
Heb 2:17 For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. NIV
Heb 7:1 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, 2 and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, his name means "king of righteousness"; then also, "king of Salem" means "king of peace." 3 Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever. 4 Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder!
5 Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people-that is, their brothers-even though their brothers are descended from Abraham. 6 This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. 7 And without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the greater. 8 In the one case, the tenth is collected by men who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living...
11 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come-one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?

12 For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. 13 He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. 14 For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. 15 And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, 16 one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is declared: "You are a priest forever, in the in the order of Melchizedek." NIV
