Usurping the Place of God
Paul used guarded language in stating: "but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way." This was clearly understood in the early church as referring to the Roman Empire. To predict the fall of the Empire would have been construed as treason and prosecution. But the Empire declined and the Papacy rose in its place. Daniel's "little horn" also fits the Papacy:
Another important scripture in this context is that concerning Satan and the king of Babylon, who was at the head of Satan's religious system
Here we see the king of Babylon being given the name "Lucifer." He was exulted above other kingdoms of the world and would even try to exult himself into the place of God. The Pope as the head of the Babylonian Mysteries sits in the place of God exalting himself, just like the king of Babylon in ancient times. Paul referring to "he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God." refers to the Church since the Temple was destroyed. The Greek word "naos," which is translated "temple," is the one used figuratively in the scripture to denote the heart of a believer or the Church of God. Also in Paul saying to the Corinthians:
It was a true Church in which a man and usurped power and authority, corrupted it and eventually elevated himself to be God's equal. This clearly reflected in the Papal enthronement as described in the "Book of Sacred Ceremonies" of Rome published in 1516, which describes a papal enthronement. After prostrating before the altar, praying before it, declaring its sanctity as the seat of God, the Pontiff elect is then enthroned. The Pope then rises and wearing his miter is lifted up by the cardinals and placed upon the altar - to sit there. One of the Bishops kneels and begins the "Te Deum" - an ancient hymn to God. In the meantime the cardinals kiss the Pope's hand, feet & face. Viz. the ceremony is an "Adoration" - of the Pope-god. On a coin struck at the papal mint they have, "Quem creant adorant," - "Whom they create (the Pope), they Adore." It should be noted that the Pope's throne is above the altar and is beneath the great sunburst image in St Peter's Basilica. Thus the new Pope was literally worshiped as God, sitting above the altar. This was done until 1978 when John Paul I refused to be crowned in this blasphemous manner. Despite being elevated to being God, the Popes down the ages have perpetrated unspeakable evil, also in their personal lives, qualifying the dynasty of the Pope to be called "man of sin." (Back to Doctrines#man of sin) The Antichrist Many Protestants down the ages have opined that the Pope will be the Antichrist. Let's see what the Popes have said themselves to qualify.
** Vicar comes from the Latin word "vicarius" = substitute, deputy, successor. This word was used in respect of Christ's suffering on the cross: He suffered in the place of the believer. "Vicar of Christ" therefore literally means, the "Substitute of Christ." In Greek the word "anti" is the equivalent of the Latin word "vicarius." Therefore, the Vicar is the Antichrist!!!!!!!!! The Apostle John states, "He is Antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." (1 Jo 2:22). Therefore, the Popes deny the Father and the Son by taking their place. Popes of Rome have claimed all through Christian history to present Christ as "Vicar of Christ" and to be "Holy Father," known today to countless millions as "Papa" (referring to the Pope). Furthermore, John states,
Whilst this immediately refers to the Gnostics (See Papacy#Gnostics), who mixed the Babylonian religions with the Gospel, it also applies to the Pope - since he is the head of the spiritual Babylon, the Church of Rome - viz. teaching in the Mass that Christ is present in the wafer of bread. The ultimate one to seek to usurp the place of Christ is Satan, who has put forward Nimrod as the pretended messiah in the Babylonian Mysteries. The Pope is the legitimate and actual successor to the head of the Mysteries, being the high priest of Nimrod or Lucifer; yet he claims to be head of the Church of Christ!! Early Reformers had little doubt that the Pope was the Antichrist. This has changed due to deflection & corruption sown by the Jesuits (and the Oxford Movement) against the Reformation, that it's not the Pope and that "the man of sin" still had to be revealed. It has laid the foundation for the Church of Rome to become accepted in the Ecumenical Movement and has lulled non-Ecumenical Churches into a false sense of security. Confusion or silence reigns in many churches at a time when the papacy is set to overthrow Britain as a nation, along with its people's religious freedom. The Man of Sin and the Mysteries The Bishop of Rome took the symbols and position of the high priest of Janus, the Interpreter of Mysteries. Janus was another form of the fish god Dagon. Now the direct connection between the Pope, the "man of sin" and the Mysteries: The name Janus is derived from the Chaldee "Eanush" which means "fallen man." However, Janus was also worshiped under the name of "Atys" or "Attes," derived from the Greek word "Até," that signifies "error of sin." It's ultimately from the Chaldee "Hata" = "to sin." If the Pope, therefore, occupies the very place of Janus "the man," he also occupies the place of Attes "the sinner." Then, how striking that the name, "the man of sin," was given by divine prophecy to him who was to be the head of the Christian apostasy, and was to contain in that apostasy all the corruption of Babylonian paganism?
Ultimate Apostasy of Rome Many of the godly Reformers had tried to reform the Church of Rome from within, but eventually concluded that it was in irrecoverable apostasy. Indeed this is the testimony of Revelation and 2 Thess 2 in that spiritual Babylon, the Church of Rome, will ultimately be destroyed by the mighty coming of God in his glory. Roman Catholics should therefore heed the call,

The Hebrew word "Ethiopean" lit. means "Cush" (= black in English), the father of Nimrod, or "Cushite." Both Cush & Nimrod were deified under the Babylonian Mysteries. Another remarkable fact is the "Leopard" = "namer" in Hebrew while Nimrod was derived from the Chaldee for "leopard tamer." This ties in with Nimrod having been a mighty hunter. The leopard skin has special significance in branches of Mystery religions, being symbolic of a priest. A leopard not being able to change his spots, or the Ethiopian his color, reflect that the religion of Nimrod and Cush in the Mysteries will never change from evil to good. Ultimately the Mysteries are Satan's system of religion; Satan will oppose all that is godly to the end! Pope John Paul I, Albino Luciani, paid the price for trying to change the evil from within. He was an honest, hardworking priest who rose to be Archbishop of Venice. When elected Pope, he wanted to be a pastor not a pontiff. He refused to be enthroned in the blasphemous traditional manner and he also desired to give the wealth of the Church to the poor, deploring corruption, links to the Mafia, banking fraud and Freemasonry in the highest ranks of the Vatican. The night before he was to announce sweeping changes, he suddenly died after only having been in office for 33 days. So he paid the price for opposing the system like Clement XIII & XIV in the 18th Century. The next Pope, John Paul II, who died recently, carried on as before, reinstating sacked officials, etc. 666 - THE NUMBER & IMAGE OF THE BEAST
"Six hundred threescore and six" in Greek simply consists of three letters that represent 600, 60 and 6. Since every letter in the original language of the Bible represents a number, it therefore follows that all the words in the Bible have numerical significance. Mathematicians have studied these numbers in the Bible, finding remarkably consistent patterns across both the Old & New Testaments, that can not be explained as simple coincidence. This has been rightly interpreted as evidence of divine inspiration. It is therefore interesting to find that 12 verses in Mark's Gospel, long attacked by modernists as a later edition, follow the same numerical pattern as the rest of scripture, showing the authenticity of these verses. However, the books of the Apocrypha, long rejected by Protestant Churches as part of the cannon of scripture, show no such numerical pattern. Many numbers in scripture have spiritual significance, viz. 7 = a perfect #, symbolizing spiritual perfection. To the contrary, 6 = the # of sinful man. From this phenomenon we see the relevance of
The Number of the Beast Note that many words in different languages might equal 666. It is therefore important to keep closely to the scriptural context of the Babylonian Mysteries when examining 666. Osiris or Nimrod, whom the Pope represents, was called by many different titles, but which one applies? The Apocalyptic [i.e. within the book of Revelation] name of the system will lead us to the name of the head of the system. The name of the system is "Mystery."
Here, then, we have the key that at once unlocks the enigma. We have now only to inquire what was the name by which Nimrod was named as the god of the Chaldean Mysteries. That name was Saturn… As Mystery signifies the hidden system, so Saturn signifies the hidden god. To those who were initiated the name of the god was revealed, not to the uninitiated. Now, the name Saturn is pronounced "Satur." = "god of Mystery" in English. Its 4 letters add up to 666. If the Pope is the representative of Saturn, his # = 666 as the head of the Mystery of Iniquity. But the initial name of Rome was Saturnia, "the city of Saturn." The #s of the related Hebrew word "sethur" also adds up to 666. In the early Church, even before the rise of the papacy, Irenaeus proposed the Greek word "lateinos" as the name & # of the beast. Since it added up to 666 and means in English, "Latin man," we are once more directed to Rome as the seat of the Beast and the "man of sin." However, there is a deeper meaning to the word "lateinos" or "Latin man." Latin itself is the Mystery or hidden language, since the word "Latin" comes from the Latin word "lateo" = "lie hid." "Lateo" in turn comes from the Chaldee word "lat," that also means, "lie hid." Thus the word "lateinos" and "Satur" are synonymous, both have the # 666, and both represent god of Mysteries. (Back to Babylon-Rome#666) The Hebrew word "Romiit," = 666 - meaning in English "Roman" or "Roman Empire." The Greek word "apostates," = 666 - meaning the mark of apostasy Finally, the name of the Pope as "Vicar of Christ" when expressed as the Latin "Vicarius Filii Dei." In English this means "Vicar of the Son of God" or "Substitutes of the Son of God." This again is equivalent to "Antichrist. Remembering that in the original Latin script, "U" is written as "V" - viz. the letters in "Vicarius Filii Dei" add up to 666. In all these names we see the # of the Beast points to the Pope as the "man of sin." There is also that clear connection to the Mysteries, the head of which is the Pope ruling as "Pontifex Maximus" or "Supreme Pontiff." Wealth and Tradition King Solomon was turned from God by wives who worshiped various Babylonian gods. Solomon's great wealth led to many snares and temptations and it is stated that the weight of gold that he received in one year was "six hundred threescore and six" talents - 1 Kings 10:14). The Greek word "euporia" (wealth) adds up to 666 and is only once used in the Bible, but in a most striking contexts of preaching the Gospel in Ephesus:
As we've shown before, Diana is a form under which Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod was worshiped. Other than "euporia" there is just one other Greek noun that adds up to 666, namely "paradosis," which is translated as "tradition." It is usually used in the sense of the tradition of men taking precedence over the word of God. A more apt summary of the errors of the Church of Rome could not be found than that of wealth and tradition. Both add up to 666. The Image of the Beast We have seen that the beast with seven heads and ten horns represent the Roman Empire. In old Babylonian paganism there was an image of a beast from the sea; and when it is decided what that image was, the question will be fairly decided. When Dagon was first set up to be worshiped, it was in his favorite form, that of a child in his mother's arms. In the natural course of events the child came to be worshiped along with the child. To justify this worship, the mother had to be raised to divinity and divine powers and have prerogatives ascribed to her. Whatever dignity, the son was supposed to have, a like dignity was ascribed to her. Whatever name of honor he bore, a similar name was bestowed upon her. And there are many examples in Babylonian worship in which Semiramis had equal honor to Nimrod The beast or Nimrod was fabled to have risen again and ascended up to heaven after he was killed by the sword. She too, though history has it that she was killed by the sword by one of her sons, was nevertheless in the myth said to have been bodily carried by her son to heaven, and to have been made Pambasileia - "Queen of the Universe." To crown it all, the name by which she then became known was Semelé, which in Babylonian signifies, "The Image." Thus, in every respect, she became the express image of the Babylonian "beast that been wounded by the sword - and lived. A version of the name "Semelé" also appears in the Bible. Ezek 8 (quoted in Chapter 3) gives a description of various forms of Babylonian idolatry practiced in the Temple at Jerusalem - viz. "the image ("semel" in Hebrew) of jealousy." Following the fall of the pagan religions in the 4th and 5th centuries, the Church of Rome set up the Virgin Mary as the Madonna, the "Queen of Heaven" - the "Mediatrix" [female mediator]. The Virgin Mary took the place of Isis, Diana and other forms of the mother goddess, the deified Semiramis. In the Babylonian worship of the Church of Rome, the Virgin Mary has taken all the attributes of Jesus. She is supposed to be sinless; a mediator for sinners; to be prayed to, reigns in heaven, etc. Yet the Jesus who is worshiped in the Mass of the Church of Rome is a false Jesus, an imposter - Nimrod or the beast worshiped under the name Jesus Christ. This awful blasphemy is further compounded by setting up the image of the beast as the mother of Jesus. First the Jesuits and now also the Church of Rome, even teach that that Mary suffered on an equal level as Jesus at Calvary. In the papal decree of 1854 it is stated about the Immaculate Conception, that that same Madonna, "wounded by the sword," rose from the dead and assumed up on high, became Queen of Heaven. From this point in time the Romish Madonna combined all the features of the Babylonian "image of the beast." Throughout the occult and Babylonian religions there is this confusion of the male and female divinities of Nimrod and Semiramis. Nevertheless, the ultimate power behind the Mysteries is Lucifer or Satan, who may appear as either god or goddess. The occultist Blavatsky states concerning Satan: "Is he not … Sanasuyala (another name of mother) … the Celestial Virgin - mother of the Invisible Universe, also called the Great Dragon." She also states, "the great Magic agent … the Astral Light … the Sidereal [i.e. concerning the constellation or fixed stars] Virgin - is that which the church calls Lucifer." In many supposed appearances of the Virgin Mary there have been momentous prophecies and instructions uttered by the Virgin - who is symbolized by a sacred heart thrust through with a sword. Here we have the beast who
Viz. the Fatima prophecies - false in that no conversion took place to Rome in Russia). Parallel to this the more recent appearance of the Virgin Mary at Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina, preceding the terrible carnage in the former Yugoslavia. It again served to bring Islam closer to Rome. A witness of this appearance said: "He was ugly, horribly ugly, you cannot imagine how ugly. He almost killed me with his gaze, I almost fainted… Then Satan went away and our Lady came…" Thus we see an example of how Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light
Indeed, a common feature of these appearances of Mary is that they began with the appearance of light, just as in the ancient accounts of the visions of Mysteries. This further identifies the Virgin Mary with Lucifer, the god of Mysteries, who is Satan himself who may appear as both male & female, as the beast and his image. It is of great concern that the confounding of male and female has also taken root in the professed churches. This may be traced to some modern Bible translations. It is seen in the new Methodist Worship Book, viz. a blasphemous prayer with the words, "God our Father and our Mother, we give you thanks and praise." The unmistakable signs of New Age are within many congregations. Viz. a confusion of male and female, apart from various occult forms of alternative medicine & Freemasonry. Many are turning away from the clear distinctions between men and women in marriage and family structure. The Mark of the Beast If the beast has an image, it also has a mark which is to be received by his followers.
This is literally followed by many Buddhists and Hindus by having a mark on the forehead and in some cases also on a hand. The Church of Rome practices it via the sign of the cross made with water in the baptism. Furthermore, the mark of the cross on the forehead is made with ashes in the ceremony of Ash Wednesday. As we know, the cross is the symbol of Tammuz, another form under which the beast is worshiped. In an apparition of the Virgin Mary was also said, "I am the sign of the living God. I place my sign on the forehead of my children." In the oppression of the various peoples by the Church of Rome, there have been incidences of "heretics" being prohibited from trading. The worst is still to come though, since it will follow after the setting up of the image of the beast - accomplished by the declaration of the Immaculate Conception in 1854. The Nazis' insistence that the swastika be displayed everywhere, was also a manifestation of domination by a mark. This Babylonian symbol of the occult was another form of a cross that was often set against the background of a round disc, depicting the sun. The EU, as a successor of Hitler's Reich, also bare this occult symbolism in the flag with the 12 stars that is displayed everywhere, including on banknotes and commerce. This flag not only represents the crown of the Virgin Mary reigning as Queen of Heaven, but is also the circle of Tammuz formed by the 12 5-pointed stars. We shudder if we consider that this mark symbolizes Nimrod and his wife, the beast and the image. Even the design of the Millennium Dome in London has a 12-fold symmetry similar to the EU flag. The words of the anthem of the EU confound male & female deities. Furthermore, the picture of the goddess Europa riding a beast has appeared on official stamps celebrating elections in the EU Parliament. Symbols of the New Age Since it has a link to the Church of Rome and the Mysteries, 666 will also feature in it. The Luciferian Alice Bailey states: "the number 666 has to do with … the greater initiation … the initiate is defined as one who has … 666." Another New Age classic calls upon the reader to use the sequence 6-6-6 as frequently as possible so as to invoke the god of the occult and to attract spirit influences. The very popular New Age book, "The Aquarian Conspiracy," has a Mobius symbol on its cover that consists of the numbers 666. A symbol bearing 666 around the inside of a mark used today for organic food. The symbol for recycling is a dark arrow wrapped around a white arrow, very similar to occult symbol for holistic medicine - signifies Lucifer's light and dark side. A call to return to nature is a feature of the New Age - as it was for Weishaupt, the revolutionary leader of the Illuminati in the 18th century. It is remarkable how many consumer goods today have one of these occult symbols on them. especially the 5-point star. Not only do these signs secretly inform the initiated, but they are also claimed to be means of communicating the power of the occult. The Sword of the Spirit The answer to deal with occult deception lies in discernment from the Spirit, as Paul exhorted, Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-- NKJV The so-called "light" and "dark" side of Satan was explained in this book. Let us, however, make God's real light our own:
1 John 1:5 This is the message which
we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is
no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk
in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the
light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that
we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we
confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness. ...18 We know that whoever is born of God does
not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one
does not touch him. 19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies
under the sway of the wicked one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has
come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true;
and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true
God and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
