Ps 73:2 But as for me, I came so close to the edge of the cliff!
My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone. 3 For I envied the proud
(enjoy while it lasts) when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness. 4 They seem to live such a painless life; their bodies are so healthy and strong. 5 They aren't troubled like other people or plagued with problems like everyone else. 6 They wear pride like a jeweled necklace, and their clothing is woven of cruelty. 7 These fat cats have everything their hearts could ever wish for! 8 They scoff and speak only evil; in their pride they seek to crush others. 9 They boast against the very heavens, and their words strut throughout the earth. NLT Ps 73:10 And so the people are dismayed and confused, drinking in all their words. 11 "Does God realize what is going on?" they ask. "Is the Most High even aware of what is happening?" 12 Look at these arrogant people--enjoying a life of ease while their riches multiply... 18 Truly, you put them on a slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction. 19 In an instant they are destroyed, swept away by terrors. 20 Their present life is only a dream that is gone when they awake. When you arise, O Lord, you will make them vanish from this life. NLT Ezek 33:13 "I have said the good man will live. But if he sins, expecting his past goodness to save him, then none of his good deeds will be remembered. I will destroy him for his sins. 14 And when I tell the wicked he will die, and then he turns from his sins and does what is fair and right- 15 if he gives back the borrower's pledge, returns what he has stolen, and walks along the paths of right, not doing evil-he shall surely live. He shall not die. 16 None of his past sins shall be brought up against him, for he has turned to the good and shall surely live. TLB

Backfires
Ps 7:14 The wicked man conceives
an evil plot, labors with its dark details, and brings to birth his treachery
and lies; 15 let him fall into his own trap. 16 May the violence he plans
for others boomerang upon himself; let him die. TLB Ps 9:15 The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug; their feet are caught in the net they have hidden. 16 The LORD is known by his justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. NIV Limit GodPsalm 78:41 Again and again they turned away and tempted God to kill them, and limited the Holy One of Israel from giving them his blessings. TLB Despise God's kindnessIsa 26:10 Your kindness to the wicked doesn't make them good; they keep on doing wrong and take no notice of your majesty. 11 They do not listen when you threaten; they will not look to see your upraised fist. Show them how much you love your people. Perhaps then they will be ashamed! Yes, let them be burned up by the fire reserved for your enemies. TLB LyingPs 12:2 Everyone lies to his neighbor; their flattering lips speak with deception. 3 May the LORD cut off all flattering lips and every boastful tongue 4 that says, "We will triumph with our tongues; we own our lips--who is our master?" NIV Destiny of sinnersvs. RighteousPs 5:4 I know you get no pleasure from wickedness and cannot tolerate the slightest sin. 5 Therefore, proud sinners will not survive your searching gaze, for how you hate their evil deeds. 6 You will destroy them for their lies; how you abhor all murder and deception. TLB Ps 73:17 Then one day I went into your sanctuary, O God, and I thought about the destiny of the wicked. 18 Truly, you put them on a slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction. 19 In an instant they are destroyed, swept away by terrors. 20 Their present life is only a dream that is gone when they awake. When you arise, O Lord, you will make them vanish from this life. NLT

Ps 73:27 But those who desert him will perish, for you destroy
those who abandon you. 28 But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I
have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the
wonderful things you do. NLT Ps 76:9 You stand up to judge those who do evil, O God, and to rescue the oppressed of the earth. NLT Stupid/atheistPs 14:1 That man is a fool who says to himself, "There is no God!" Anyone who talks like that is warped and evil and cannot really be a good person at all. TLB Ps 75:4 "I warned the proud, 'Stop your boasting!' I told the wicked, 'Don't raise your fists! 5 Don't lift your fists in defiance at the heavens or speak with rebellious arrogance.' " 6 For no one on earth--from east or west, or even from the wilderness--can raise another person up. NLT For I have bent Judah, My bow, Fitted the bow with Ephraim, And raised up your sons, O Zion, Against your sons, O Greece, And made you like the sword of a mighty man. New King James Version, (Nashville, Tennessee: Thomas Nelson, Inc.) 1982. (humanism; white washed wall) FalseMother & SonMatthew 12:46 As Jesus was speaking to the crowd, his mother and brothers were outside, wanting to talk with him. 47 Someone told Jesus, "Your mother and your brothers are outside, and they want to speak to you." 48 Jesus asked, "Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?" 49 Then he pointed to his disciples and said, "These are my mother and brothers. 50 Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!" NLT

"For I will fill the wise men of Edom with stupidity. 9 The
mightiest soldiers of Teman will be confused, and helpless to prevent the
slaughter. TLB God can cause someone to sin - also "Harden heart."2 Sam 24:1 Once again the anger of the Lord flared against Israel, and he caused David to harm them by taking a national census. "Go and count the people of Israel and Judah," the Lord told him. 2 So the king said to Joab, commander-in-chief of his army, "Take a census of all the people from one end of the nation to the other, so that I will know how many of them there are." 3 But Joab replied, "God grant that you will live to see the day when there will be a hundred times as many people in your kingdom as there are now! But you have no right to rejoice in their strength." 4 But the king's command overcame Joab's remonstrance; so Joab and the other army officers went out to count the people of Israel. TLB Judge/InterveneIsa 59:15 Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice. 16 He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. 17 He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak. NIV LeadersPs 75:7 But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another. NIV (Ps 75:6.7 For promotion and power comes from nowhere on earth, but only from God. He promotes one and deposes another... 10 "I will cut off the strength of evil men," says the Lord, "and increase the power of good men in their place." LBJ)
